More good news

So, I started my weekly doctors appointments today. I am just now starting week 33 of this pregnancy. As always they did an ultrasound on the girls and this time they got measured again. After several contractions during the ultrasound, the girls having the hiccups and tons of rolling around (mainly by Brielle) they finally got measurements done. Brooklie is weighing in at a grand total of 3 pounds 8 ounces. And Brielle at a 4 pounds (not supprising) I am 32 weeks but measuring at 35-36 weeks. So once again the doctor couldnt be more pleased with their progress. And more good news that we found out today... its not that they have to get to 5 pounds to NOT be in the NICU, they just have to be past 35 weeks. The doctor measured me today too and Im dialated to a whopping 1cm. SO she said for the next 2-2 1/2 weeks I am not supposed to be walking more than I have to, no strenuous activity, notta. So she said to TRY to make it 2 more weeks, and IF we do we'll be all set........YIKES. IF we make it 2 weeks??????? Thats soo soon!!! So until then, when I have contrations I am to lay on my left side and drink tons of water. But after that I can do whatever the heck I want. Sp ya it wont make much difference in my days.... only my grocery shopping is down to whenever daniel is home. So ya! its coming super soon!!!!!

Desperately ready for fall = an end to my patheticness

So Im SO ready for fall to be here! I dont know what it is; ready to stop suffocating the second I walk outside, ready for sweater weather and new socks, ready for the holidays, or just the fact that fall means I wont be pregnant anymore and I will actually be able to move again and my family will be doubled! Probably all of the above. Whatever it is though... this desire for fall has got me motivated to do something to end a pathetic streak of mine. I want fall food. In my search for such I started drooling over this pumpkin cinnamon roll recipe with caramel icing. So much so, that despite my stupid siatic nerve bringing me to tears because my hip hurts so bad, I decided to make them. So whats the pathetic part you ask??? Well this was the very first bread ANYTHING I have made by myself. (Yes even with taking baking lessons from Grandma and making all sorts of stuff) I did this without any help, no asking questions, and whalla!!! Gorgeousness in a pan! And it smells amazing! ( I think it was always the yeast aspect that made me nervous about bread making... who knows) Pretty much another must haves of Shyannes to add to family events. They are DELICIOUS!

The kiddos

Well, Im not even going to try to catch up on what I havent posted in the last like year... so whats happening now?

Well heres the latest shots of the girls. Both taken at around 26 weeks. I just had a doctors apt yesterday and the doc said that she couldnt be more pleased with how things are going with them! Brooklie is measuring 1 pound 13 ounces and Brielle is measuring right at 2 pounds. Having twins you get an ultrasound every apt, and it is amazing to see how much they change each time. Brielle has always been the more active one....(but of course I dont need an ultrasound to tell me that! She definitely lets me know all day long) and she is up a little higher and still breech. (Praying that she flips so I dont have to have a C-section) We didnt get pics to take home this time cuz she wouldnt sit still long enough to get one! But both are doing amazing and measuring right on schedule. You can definitely tell that they are side by side because Ive got like a line of nothingness down the middle of my stomach. Oh AND.... though the absolute latest day they will make their arival is Oct 15, doc says she expects they will be here end of sept..... THATS NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!
Mommy on the other hand..... As you can tell Im not that big for having twins! I may not be growing a ton... which Im greatful for, but I can sure feel them growing. They are making it almost impossible to even walk sometimes. Sitting hurts no matter how soft the seat. Hips (mainly the left side) feels like its just going to shatter if i move the wrong way. Which makes for long restless nights, not actually getting much sleep until like 5 in the morning. But ya if i keep the Tylenol and a hot pad handy I do ok. Oh and I cant forget about the Tums... absolute necessity. But I cant complain really, both girls are doing perfect, Im not on bedrest (though sometimes it feels like it), my cervix are uterus are both very baby friendly, I have lots of family close by, and even though Daniel is gone.... ALOT, I know where he is all the time and I know it prob wont be more than a week before I get to see him again. So I dont do a whole lot... at all, but I guess thats alright because I really cant do much anymore, anyway. So If anyone has any ideas of what to do to keep busy and occupied with not a whole lot lower body movement I would be happy to hear! In the meantime Im just trying to keep them growing like they should, getting things ready for their arrival..... which is probably NEXT MONTH! Its soo crazy that its almost here! We are both so excited to have these little girls come into our life.... but also a bit nervous of how were going to handle two at the same time. :)

My Painful Parting.... NOT

NO MORE! IM DONE! LAST DAY!
No more cleaning everyones house every day burning myself out so mine is the one that gets untouched.
No more racing across town several times a day trying to make it to peoples houses by a certain time.
No more cooking a meal that can EASILY serve 12... FOR ONE PERSON for one meal!
No more work calling me AT LEAST twice a day wanting me to work for someone.
No more trying to help out my company after hours or on weekends then getting messed over cuz no on can tell me how to get to where I am supposed to be going.
No more cats!
No more sickly cats who dont cover their nasty disgusting poop which sends a nasty overwhelming stench throughout the entire house the second it comes out of its body and I have to go cover it up trying not to release the entire contents of what I had eaten earlier in the day.
No more feeling like im going to die a slow death by suffocation from cigarette smoke.
No more gagging at myself all the way home and until i shower because i REIK of said cigarette smoke.
No more cleaning up jelly and coffee spills that SOMEHOW end up everywhere in the house, up the walls, and in the bathroom in just two days........when theres NO KIDS THAT EVER ENTER THAT HOUSE!
And best of all...no more entering a super sketchy looking home, taking your first two steps into that home with at least 7 dogs jumping up all over you, the foul smell of dog poop burns your nostrils, and in those first two steps you can hear a loud CRUNCH CRUNCH over the sound of the dogs.......you look down to see what made that chilling, hair raising noise and you see that the bottom of your shoes are coated in dead cockroaches....in just those two steps. The walls and the floor seem to be moving all around you. Your too affraid to touch anything and you sure as heck cant stand still for more than 2 seconds for fear that the moving floor will crawl up your pantlegs and all over you. And in the end all you have accomplished is UNSECESSFULLY making a roach free pot of coffee, then breaking all rules of the company you just run out crying....... scarred for life.
NO MORE HOMECARE!!!

HELLO roach free, cat free, smoke free, dog free, clean enviornment of a hospital ICU!!!!!!!!
Hello only 3 days of work a week.
Hello more money!!
Hello one location.
Hello benefits.
Hello FINALLY doing the things that I went to school for almost 6 years for!!
And Hello a more consistently clean home........(hopefully!!! :)  )

Randomness: long overdue

At the beginning of the month we brought Matt Clark and Daniels Brother Brad along to test out my new gun and shoot the other three we have.
                                                                          Thats my gun!

Here is a few pictures of Daniel and I with Sophie when we went up for Kyler's blessing.

Daniel's sister in law Nina just opened up a pottery painting studio in Neosho. She had a soft opening for family and friends that we went to and painted dinner plates and two little pumpkins. I found out that Daniel is a better painter than I am. Though I painted both pumpkins and they rock. They were the only Halloween decorations that I had. Ive gotten a couple more things but,,,,after halloween sales here i come.

Getting up and started

It may be a while still before I can get this blog in good shape. It has taken me two hours just to get this. We dont have internet at home yet, and I am just now learning how to do everything on here. So!! ya, this is pretty much what I have at this moment.
